Business growth is actually simple

In my library I have at least a hundred books about sales, marketing, business development, etc. And all of them are filled with wisdom, ideas, revolutionary concepts, and generally great advice. But as I’ve read them and thought about their content, I’ve concluded that all the vast knowledge from these many books can be distilled into one simple point. There are really only three ways to grow your top line sales:

1. Increase prices

2. Sell more to existing customers

3. Sell more to new customers

Yes, it is actually that simple. And except for increasing prices, it’s all about customers, which will be the common thread in this book. Finding and retaining loyal customers is the key for all business success. That’s why, in this book, we will explore the opportunities that all businesses have to grow either through their existing customers, or by finding new customers or markets.
